Kumeyaay Community College We provide accredited education grounded in Kumeyaay culture. Created by us, for everyone. Develop a supportive learning environment for the community.

We offer a Certificate of Specialization in Kumeyaay Studies, and in partnership with Cuyamaca Community College we offer an Associate's Degree in Kumeyaay Studies. Through our coursework we aim to:

Promote Indigenous Sovereignty and self-determination. Preserve Indigenous values of family, respect, healing, and spiritual awareness. Promote cultural education by embracing cognitive development an

d traditional teaching methods. Design and develop curriculum that prepares students to succeed in a diverse global society professionally and socially. Encourage the growth and nourishment of the society we live in by working to revitalize the Kumeyaay tribal community and invite our friends and neighbors to walk with us.
