We have a kitchen and we need bakers, contestants and all around kitchen assistants. On Thursday 8/11 and Friday 8/12 we have the use of a professional kitchen to help make Lemon 'Aid' 2016 a yummy success! Join in on the fun, bake to your hearts content. Cakes, cupcakes, pies, fudge, candies, breads, cookies whatever you would like represented at our 3rd annual 'All Things Lemon' bake-off with a twist!!! Contact me if you're interested in baking either night or both! UR Charities is raising money to help pay for uninsured medical needs for individuals with disabilities. UR Charities....Unique Resources for unique needs! We're going to have a ball, baking, laughing and getting ready for the bake-off with a twist!

The UR Charities' Lemon "Aid" banner went up at Town Center intersection tonight. It may be because it's dark...but I think the font is too small....what do y'all think? Let me know if you see it.

UR Charities presents our 3rd annual Lemon "Aid" event which will be held on August 13th at the Santee Town Center Community Park East. All of the proceeds from this day will help to provide uninsured medical needs for individuals with disabilities. This fun day is solely created by volunteers and we hope you join us in participating. Enter your favorite lemon baked good in our very popular 'All Things Lemon' bake-off or join in the fun by volunteering, being a sponsor or promote your business by being a vendor. Please go to our website at www.URCSD.org to get more information, to sign up or donate today. We can help so many people who have unique needs but we need your help to achieve that! We're very proud of Lemon "Aid" and we are so looking forward to it this year at this beautiful park with its 360 degree view of San Diego's rolling hills and local mountains!

Lemon "Aid" 2016 will include an apron contest this year! Bring your grandmas treasured heirloom, a cute retro one that you just had to have or make one yourself! I'm starting 2 of my aprons now. If you are interested in entering the apron contest or would like to make one to donate to our UR Charities booth please contact me. Lemon themed aprons are not mandatory for the contest!:))
