So it looks like the weather is changing pretty quickly here. It’s getting cold sooner than we thought. So now we are in the process of changing to ceramic lightbulbs. We need about 13 of them. We also have to get ready for all the tortoises that are going to hibernate and we have about 13 that will hibernate this year so we have to prepare all their bins for hibernation.We had an electrician come out and up our electricity in order to power all the heat. Some tortoises will need two ceramic lights, and some will need one.  We have bought all the lights and cords. We still need to get about 10 bins and get them ready for the ones that will be hibernating.
With all that being said it is a cost for all of this so if you have it in your heart to donate to us please do. we really can’t do this without y’all. 
I really feel we’ve made a beautiful rescue here with all the help from Bonnie, my husband and volunteers and donators.
The tortoises are very happy, well taken care of and eat well.
