🎃 Happy Halloween from the Cardiff Volunteer Fire Company! 🚒

As everyone heads out tonight to celebrate Halloween, please remember to slow down and use extra caution while driving. Keep an eye out for children and families walking through neighborhoods, crossing streets, and going door to door.

👻 A few reminders:

* Slow down in residential neighborhoods.
* Watch for children who may walk into the roadway.
* Avoid distractions and keep your eyes on the road.
* Be extra cautious around parked cars and crosswalks.

🚒 Keep an eye out for our fire trucks handing out candy! We look forward to seeing everyone out there!

Trick or Treat times: 6pm to 8pm

From all of us at Cardiff Volunteer Fire Company, have a safe and happy Halloween! 🎃

It’s been a busy week for members of the EHT Fire Department. Your volunteers, from Cardiff, Farmington and Bargaintown along with members of the Atlantic City Fire Department and the EHT Rescue Squad and the EHT Police Department were working tirelessly to save lives and safeguard the public, while many residents were not yet awake. Thanks to our mutual aid partners from the ACFD. Great cooperation and teamwork by all involved.

Two members recently completed a 4-day hands-on Vehicle Rescue Awareness, Operations & Technician course at the Camden County Fire Academy, presented by Safety and Survival Training.

The training focused on vehicle extrication, stabilization, rescue tool use, and hands-on rescue techniques.

Cardiff Volunteer Fire Company is committed to providing our members with the highest level of training and experience necessary to effectively serve our community. We’re proud of these members for dedicating their time to continuing their education and bringing these valuable skills back to our department.

On 9/24/2026 members of the Cardiff and Bargaintown Volunteer Fire Company conducted a “joint” company drill. Firefighters were trained in fire-ground hose-line deployment and management interior search techniques, firefighter “mayday” procedures and “bailout” techniques. Joint training between fire companies ensures seamless operations at fire and rescue scenes. This training was led by Cardiff Assistant Chief Craig Thompson, Cardiff Captain Kevin Weatherby and Bargaintown Assistant Chief Will Hancock.
