Looking for a fun evening at the most classic reimagined Italian restaurant in South Jersey? Come join us as we present the Welcome Spring Fling, a casual evening of friends and fellowship.. The best part is, you do not need to be a Rotarian to attend. In fact we are looking forward to those who have an interest, but don't quite understand what Rotary is all about. Mark your calendar, RSVP and please join us. You'll be glad you did.

Contact club president, Karl Kinkler at (609) 685-1097 or [email protected] for tickets or more information.

Atlantic City Rotary on location at the Atlantic City St Patrick’s Day Parade on the boardwalk. President Karl and his wife passing out tons of necklaces along the route to massive crowds of people enjoying the festivities. Rotary represeted prominently. Amazing the number of people who would comment about our scholarship program or had recipients. We look forward to continuing to support and help our community. Service above self.

Michael Bell, a resident of Longport for 34 years, is planning and financing a party for teenagers before their summer recess ends.

Bell, 81, had an interesting career.

He owned a safety supply business which sold work gloves, safety harnesses, patented non-slip shoes, rappelling equipment, and other items that he designed and engineered.

His customers included electric, gas and railroad companies.

What is your vision for this event?

Bell: To bring the teenagers together for an evening of camaraderie. After playing miniature golf and video games, what else is left for them to do? Many establishments have age restrictions.

Adolescents have no place to go. I am going to provide an event
that does not happen anymore – an outdoor get together and party by the bay where they can dance, mingle and have fun.

What entertainment and activities are planned?

Bell: There will be a DJ for music and dancing, photo booths for taking selfies and a limbo contest! We will also serve water ice and water.

Anything else?

Bell: The event will be secured by the Longport PD and chaperoned by adults. Parents and Guardians should make arrangements to pick up their children by 9:45p so they are home before curfew.

If the event is canceled due to weather conditions, the money will go to the Longport Public Library with the hope that the funds would be earmarked for a similar event in 2026.

Event: Lollapalooza – the Longport, Margate, Ventnor version

Date: Friday, August 22, 2025

Time: 7p to 10p

Place: Longport, 24th Ave and the Bay, behind Borough Hall
Invited: Teenagers 13 to 18 years old

RSVP: email to [email protected] by Thursday, August 21 (include name, age, school name, and grade)

Cost: $20 per person

(This is a ticketed event, payment in advance via Venmo or
Zelle)

The Atlantic City Rotary Club was proud to represent at this year’s Rotary Day of Service by joining the Rise Against Hunger event!

Led by our Club President, Karl Kinkler, we helped package 7,500 meals to fight food insecurity and bring hope to communities in need. Every meal makes a difference—and we’re honored to have played a part in this powerful cause.

A big thank-you to all the volunteers who showed up to serve. Service Above Self in action!
