On Wednesday, our team had the opportunity to visit Rancho Ebenezer and El Picacho.
🏘 Rancho Ebenezer is a family-based children’s center where displaced Honduran children receive care for their basic needs, individual nurturing, emotional healing, preparation for a successful future, and an introduction to the love of Christ. They also provide an excellent education with a bilingual emphasis through Ebenezer Academy.
Rancho Ebenezer is staffed and supported by individual missionaries, service teams like ours, child sponsorship programs, and WGO’s private coffee reserve. ☕️

Our team had a blast playing soccer with the children (we suffered a brutal loss with a final score of 4–0). We also toured the ranch, including their school, homes, and their impressive coffee fields. One of our child sponsors even had the opportunity to spend time with the child they sponsor.
🌄 El Picacho is a beautiful national park in Honduras. On our way back from the ranch, we stopped to walk around and take in the incredible views, including the large statue of Jesus that overlooks the city of Tegucigalpa.
