Hello Everyone,
I am creating a fundraiser because hopefully everything will go back to normal this upcoming fall. The fundraiser has to do with making the International Night Event happen this year. The fundraiser consists of gear which are a hoodie, a shirt and a long sleeve. If anyone would like to help with raising funds by purchasing an item for this upcoming huge event that will hopefully happen thank you so much. May God Bless all of you. 😊

Upperclass students at SIUE have three on-campus living options:
- Evergreen Hall
- Cougar Village
- The upperclass wing of a residence hall

All current residents who want to live on campus next year must complete the online Application for Space and pay the $200 advance payment by Friday, February 19.

Hello Everyone,

I hope everyone is doing well this week. It’s been a long ride but we’re halfway there to finishing this semester. Although it will be hard this year for our biggest event to happen which is International Night, there will be outdoor activities we can all do our if anyone can throw in any suggestions for any games or any engaging conversations about any job fairs, diversity, culture in the comments down below that we can do via zoom. Also if anyone is interested in gear I will be posting images on my next post. If anyone has questions feel free to contact President Faviola Lopez/[email protected].

In recent days, many Americans of all races have been energized to protest peacefully throughout the country following the murder of George Floyd, a Black man who was killed under police custody on May 25. Our office understands that as international students, it can be confusing and emotional to watch these events unfold. The SIUE School of Education, Health and Human Behavior is responding to these events with an opportunity for teaching and learning by hosting the first in a series of virtual panels, podcasts, and community discussions on the important topic of Dismantling Institutional Racism in Higher Education. This is a great opportunity to learn about the Black experience in the U.S. and their long struggle for racial justice and equity in the country. We hope you make an effort to join.
