When a child is battling cancer, dads often carry so much on their shoulders. They work hard to provide for their families, support their spouse, stay strong for their children, and continue showing up day after day through some of life’s hardest moments. Their quiet strength, sacrifices, and unwavering love deserve recognition.
One Ribbon United will be honoring fathers of children battling childhood cancer with special devotionals to encourage and uplift them during this difficult journey. Each year, we provide $20 gift cards to pediatric patients and their siblings until their 18th birthday. We also donate stuffed animals, board games, and activities to local children’s hospitals to help families during long hospital stays.

We send monthly words of encouragement to families facing childhood cancer, provide Bibles upon request, offer a prayer team for support, and deliver special Mother’s Day and Father’s Day gifts to parents carrying so much every day.

None of this happens without donors. Every gift helps cover items, materials, packaging, and shipping so we can continue supporting these amazing families.

Last week, we had the privilege of sending out 21 Bibles to families walking through childhood cancer. Our prayer is that God’s Word brings comfort, strength, and peace during such a difficult season.
Today, we also sent 37 gifts to moms whose children are fighting this disease. As a mother who has personally walked this road, I know how heavy it can be. You give everything you have to care for your child, and somewhere along the way, you can lose a part of yourself.
Our hope is that these devotionals remind these incredible moms that they are not alone—that they are seen, supported, and deeply loved. 💛

May is Brain Cancer Awareness Month

Throughout this month, we will be sharing important facts about childhood brain tumors to help bring awareness to this devastating disease. Our hope is that increased awareness leads to greater support, more funding, and continued research—moving us closer to safer treatments and, one day, a cure. 🎗️
