We remember the fallen, support their families, and thank all who have served.

A little Mozart, a little mischief, and just a touch of western flair 🤠✨

We had such a wonderful time yesterday performing “The Magic Flute Goes West” at the Arts Council OKC’s 60th Festival of the Arts.

Thank you to Arts Council OKC for your continued commitment to the arts in Oklahoma City and for inviting Painted Sky Opera to be part of such a vibrant, community-centered event.

Opera Heads West! 🐴🤠

Painted Sky Opera is thrilled to bring our Education Outreach Artists to the Oklahoma City Festival of the Arts for a special performance of “The Magic Flute Goes West.”

Join us Saturday, April 25 at 4:00 PM on the north side of the Civic Center as part of Art Moves, presented by the Arts Council Oklahoma City.

Set in the Wild West, “The Magic Flute Goes West” is a lively, 40-minute, interactive opera experience designed especially for families. This reimagined take on Mozart’s classic invites audiences to take part in the story, making it an engaging and approachable introduction to opera.

We are proud to partner with Arts Council OKC and grateful for their continued dedication to the arts in Oklahoma City. Their commitment to supporting artists and creating space for community experiences is what makes this festival so special.

Mozart Rides Into The Wild West For Festival Of The Arts 🎠

Painted Sky Opera is honored to join this year’s Festival of the Arts! Celebrating 60 years of bringing arts to life for our community, Arts Council OKC is dedicated to creativity, connection, and live performance. We are grateful to be part of a full weekend which showcases the level of talent and artistry right here in OKC!

Join us Saturday, April 25th at 4:00 PM during Festival Of The Arts for our performance of “The Magic Flute Goes West,” a lively, family-friendly, interactive opera that blends Mozart’s iconic music with a playful Western adventure.

Find us outdoors on the north side of the Civic Center. Expect big voices, laughter, and a show designed for all ages to enjoy together.

Today, Painted Sky Opera joins our community in remembrance of April 19, 1995.

We honor those who were lost, those who survived, and all who were changed forever. At the Oklahoma City National Memorial & Museum, these words continue to guide us: “We come here to remember those who were killed, those who survived, and those changed forever.” And, “Evil is powerless if the good are unafraid.”

As an arts organization rooted in Oklahoma, we reflect not only on loss, but on the strength, compassion, and resilience that followed. In the years since, our community has chosen connection over division, kindness over hatred, and hope over despair.
Today, we remember, and we carry that spirit forward.
