9 MONTHS !!!!

This is what recovery looks like.

Today, one of our RRI house managers had the privilege of handing one of our members his 9-month chip.

Nine months of choosing recovery. Nine months of showing up. Nine months of putting one foot in front of the other—even on the hard days.

These moments are why we do what we do. At RRI, we don’t just provide a place to live. We get to watch people rebuild their lives, celebrate milestones, and remind each other that recovery is possible.

Congratulations on 9 months! We’re proud to be a small part of your journey.

When we say we meet people where they are, we mean it.

Sometimes someone is ready for recovery before they’re financially ready for sober living.

At RRI, we don’t want that to be the end of the conversation.

When possible, we find creative ways to help our members get established—including opportunities to contribute, build responsibility, and help offset some of their program costs while they work toward financial stability.

This crew showed up, worked hard, and got it done.

Your spare change can help change someone’s life.

When someone comes to Redemption Recovery Institute, they often arrive with little more than the clothes they’re wearing. We believe everyone deserves to walk into a place that feels like home—not an empty room.

That’s why every one of our recovery homes is fully stocked with the essentials our members need, including:
🛏️ Bedding & pillows
🛁 Towels
🧺 Laundry baskets & hangers
🧼 Laundry detergent
🪥 Hygiene products
🏠 Fully furnished homes with the necessities to help someone start over

One of the easiest ways to support our mission is through Walmart Spark Good Round Up. Simply choose Redemption Recovery Initiative as your preferred charity, and when you shop on Walmart online or in the Walmart app, you can round your purchase up to the nearest dollar. Those few cents are donated to RRI. It may not seem like much, but together, those pennies become pillows, laundry soap, towels, and the everyday essentials that help someone begin a new chapter.

It’s proof that small change really can create big change.

Everyone deserves a place where someone saves them a seat.

Today, that place was Lake Arcadia with the RRI family.

Success Story | Recovery is About More Than Sobriety

When he first came to Redemption Recovery Institute, he walked into recovery with very little to call his own.

For a long time, RRI was home. It was where he found stability, accountability, and the opportunity to rebuild his life one day at a time.

Today, we’re proud to celebrate a huge milestone.

He has moved into his very own apartment.

Not only does he have a place to call home, but he recently welcomed two new roommates—his kittens, ET & PT.

Success doesn’t happen overnight. It happens through thousands of small decisions, perseverance, and a willingness to keep moving forward—even when the road is difficult.

We couldn’t be more proud of how far he has come, and we’re excited to see what comes next.
