Today we say goodbye to Britley Little, our Community Engagement Director, after 8 incredible years of service. 🩵
Since joining Anna’s House Foundation in 2018, Britley has played a pivotal role in expanding our volunteer program, foster family support initiatives, internship opportunities, community partnerships, and digital storytelling efforts. She also launched our Young Professionals Board, whose members have been instrumental in supporting foster family events and helping make our Gumdrops & Lollipops Gala a success.
Beyond her work at AHF, Britley has built an award-winning videography business, Brit Little Films, while remaining deeply invested in the Edmond community through Edmond Chamber of Commerce, Edmond Young Professionals, and Life.Church Oklahoma City.
Her passion, creativity, leadership, and heart for serving others have left a lasting mark on our organization and the families we serve. While we will miss her greatly, we are so excited to cheer her on in this next season of life! ⭐️

You have the 💚 We have the 🏠!

Exciting news! Two of our homes in our Foster Care Neighborhood are open! Foster families live in these homes rent free with access to our private Community Center with an art therapy room, indoor gym, doctors office, and conference room. Families enjoy free lawn care, regular Parents Night Out, and support group. Interested in living in our Foster Care Neighborhood? Email [email protected] or call 405-509-2055 to inquire today!

We love sharing the mission of Anna’s House, but even more importantly, we are passionate about advocating for children and families in foster care and raising awareness about the ongoing need for more foster families. 🏠
While Foster Care Awareness Month may be over, the need is not. We’ll continue working to educate, advocate, and support families all year long.

It’s Foster Care Awareness Month, and we’re celebrating our amazing foster parents with a well-deserved date night 💙✨

Thank you to our incredible First Presbyterian Edmond volunteers for providing childcare during Parents Night Out and giving our parents the chance to relax, recharge, and enjoy a date night together. We are so grateful for your heart to serve our foster families! 💫

We're celebrating Jennifer on her 8 year fostering anniversary! 🥳⭐️

When asked why she decided to foster, she said:
"I grew up in Africa as a missionary kid, watching my parents live out a calling the Lord had placed on their lives to translate the Bible into other people's heart languages. During that time, I always said I wanted to adopt a kid from every continent or run an orphanage. So, when I was in my early 30's with a good career, an empty home, and lots of free time, I knew God was calling me to do more with my life. At that time, my church had been highlighting different ways to become involved in foster care. The idea of foster care was interesting to me, yet I wondered if it would even be possible as a single woman? I went to a foster care recruitment event and felt drawn to look more into Anna's House. On the homepage of their website was a story about a single woman (whom I had met previously!) who was fostering two little kids, totally unbeknownst to me. It was in that moment that I felt God confirm the direction I was to take! Fast-forward to today, I have had the privilege to foster 14 children and I am about to finalize my 4th adoption. Caring for orphans is the calling the Lord placed on my heart many, many years ago and I am thankful I get to continue to walk this journey through foster care and adoption now. There have been challenging and difficult seasons, for sure, but the Lord has always been faithful to show me his presence and provision. I know He will do the same for you!"

Our Young Professionals Board came together to create the most beautiful bouquets and heartfelt cards for the incredible foster moms in our community. Thank you, YPB, for helping make our moms feel so loved and celebrated! 🌷✨
