There seems to be some confusion about the dates for the Edmond Quilt Guild Quilt Show. Edmond Quilt Guild alternates years with the Central Oklahoma Quilt Guild. They had their show in 2025. Edmond Quilt Guild will have a show July 31-August 1, 2026.

Edmond is proud to sponsor the Back to School community event again this year! Join us on Saturday, August 2, from 9 - 11 am, at First Christian Church of Edmond (201 E. 2nd Street).

Backpacks filled with school supplies will be handed out while supplies last, and the first 300 students will receive a voucher for a free haircut at a metro-area Sports Clips! Several local resource organizations will be available on-site. The Edmond Police Department and the Edmond Fire Department will have a Firetruck and a SWAT vehicle available for kids to explore. All pre-k through 12th-grade students are welcome and must be present to receive supplies.
