And, over the years, I have. Plenty. It's always irked me that, after a morning of Bible classes and energizing praise and worship, we have to pile our family back into the car and return to the church building for — let's be honest — a toned-down version of what we just did.

Sweet Joyce McBride passed away Thursday afternoon. Please keep Dr. Bailey McBride and family in thoughts and prayers. We know the McBrides, their children, and grandchildren are loved by many. We are all so thankful for the many ways Bailey and Joyce have served and cared for the OC community. Joyce's sweet smile and warmth will be long remembered.

Was a godly and beautiful mother, wife, daughter, and friend who fought Stage 4 Signet Ring Adenocarcinoma of the appendix. She went home May 4th, 2015.
