As we come to the end of Foster Care awareness Month, we would like to boast about our successful case closures, we successfully reunified 11 children back to their caregivers. Through Advocacy, commitment, family support, towards making sure each of these children went back to a safe loving and permeant home.

Every Child deserves a CASA, who will stand alongside them, and make a difference in their lives.

Please help us in Congratulating our very own Child Advocate Specialist America Tovar who is graduating with her Masters in Social Work from UTRGV today!

America first joined CASA in the summer of 2024 as a UTRGV Social Work internship program she completed her hours and graduated with her Bachelor’s, the timing was perfect and we had an opportunity to bring her on full time. Throughout her time here she has shown nothing but exceptional work, she adapted well, is an awesome case manager, Advocates for children, strong work ethic. America loves to read books 📚 likes the color pink, Hello Kitty and reality tv shows.
Job well done Latina Grad we are so proud of you. 💙
