Meet Fenton is our dedicated Chairman of the Council! With an impressive 12 years on the board and two years as Chairman, Fenton brings experience and passion to our organization.

🌱 Local Leader: Born in the New Hope section of Perquimans County and now a proud resident of Chowan County for 42 years, Fenton is deeply rooted in our community. 🌟 Introducing Our Board Member: Nathan T. Everett (Tommy) 🌟

Meet Tommy Everett, a member of our Executive Board! With eight years of service, Tommy brings strong commitment to the Albemarle Resource and Development Council.

🌳 Local Advocate: From Tyrrell County in Columbia, NC, Tommy is a retired businessman and served as Clerk of Court for 24 years. His deep roots in the community give him a unique perspective on the challenges we face.

🀝 Why He Serves: Tommy believes that small counties like Tyrrell often struggle with staffing and funding for vital projects that enhance our natural resources. He’s passionate about addressing these needs not just in Tyrrell, but throughout the entire region.

πŸš€ Vision for the Future: Tommy hopes to see ARCD hire a permanent executive director and expand resource development. He envisions supporting projects across all 10 counties to strengthen both the natural and economic resources of our region.

Join us in celebrating Tommy’s dedication and vision for a thriving community! 🌍
