Now that school is back in session, it’s time for our 4-H Clubs to begin meeting again! 📚✏️🍀

Edenton Eagles 4-H Club — 3rd Thursday of each month
Ryland 4-H Club — 1st Monday of each month

Whether you’re a returning club member or ready to join us for the first time, we’re excited to welcome you! Please email [email protected] to RSVP for one of our clubs. Youth must be enrolled in 4-HOnline prior to attending their first meeting.

We are partnering with Albemarle Area United Way, Inc to spread some cheer to our community! As part of the AAUW Day of Caring, we are making encouraging cards for Meals on Wheels recipients. Stop by the Chowan County Cooperative Extension Office now through September 23rd to decorate a birthday, holiday, Valentine’s Day or encouragement card. We have all of the supplies you need!

After taking the summer off, our Foodie Friends are back in the kitchen! Youth learned how to make homemade noodles that they turned into the most delicious lasagna! We topped off our time together with a dirty soda bar. Yum! 🍝🍞🥗🥤🍋‍🟩

Join us at the Four Feathers 4-H Chicken Project Showmanship Clinic! Youth will learn how to properly handle and present their birds for the judge. Whether you’re a first-time exhibitor or looking to sharpen your skills, this clinic will help you feel show-ready. Chickens will be provided, so you don’t need to bring yours from home. 🐥🐥🐥🐥

Yesterday, 4-H siblings, Meagan and Jase Conner, shared their 4-H District Activity Day presentations with the Chowan County Advisory Leadership Council! This was a great opportunity to share more about the 4-H programs we offer to youth in our county. 🍀

Our Foodie Friends Cooking Class will be starting back up soon! We have a few spots available on a first come, first served basis. Class is for youth ages 10+. These classes are FREE of charge, thanks to a grant from Albemarle Area United Way, Inc! 🍳🥦🌽🥨🍔🌮
