📸 Get your cameras ready! Entries for the 2026 Dr. Kim Ingold 4-H Photography Contest are now open!

This annual competition encourages NC 4-H youth and adult photographers to showcase their creativity, practice photography skills and capture meaningful moments through the camera lens.

Participants can enter photos in the following categories:
🍀 4-H in Action
🌄 Nature’s Beauty
🐾 Animals
⚫ Black and White

All entries must be submitted by August 14, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. Participants should review the contest rules, category requirements, judging information and submission guidelines before entering.

Youth are working hard on their District Activity Day presentations! We have presentations on topics from cake decorating, snakes and legos to Greek mythology, the water cycle and 4-H impacts on youth development. So proud of these youth and their dedication! 🎂🐍💧🍀

NC 4-H Congress returns July 20-24, 2026! This events brings together 4-H members from across the state for a week of connection, leadership, traditions and experiences unique to North Carolina 4-H!

Today we wrapped up an amazing school year with the Edenton Eagles 4-H Club! 🍓🇺🇸
We celebrated our 5th graders, who are aging out, by making homemade strawberry ice cream! Youth also participated in a service project with the Stars For Our Troops organization. Members respectfully cut stars from the canton of retired American flags. These stars, along with handmade cards, will be given to local veterans to thank them for their service and sacrifice. ❤️🤍💙
