It’s time for our annual Fall Snack Drive! We will be collecting individually wrapped snack items for the Community School Snack Program -Edenton, NC at Team WOW - White Oak Elementary and D.F. Walker Elementary!

Donate items to receive a $10 voucher for any 4-H or FCS program in 2027! We’ll be collecting items November 2nd - December 2nd at the Chowan County Cooperative Extension office (730 N. Granville Street, Edenton).

🌲✨ It’s time for our annual 4-H Wreath and Garland Fundraiser! ✨🌲

Fresh wreaths, garland and specialty items coming straight from the beautiful NC mountains. Not only will your home look and smell like the holidays, but your purchase also helps support local 4-H programs.

Call 252-482-6585 or email [email protected] to place your order! Orders will be collected until Thursday, October 29th. Greenery will be available for pick up on Monday, November 23rd.

It's time for a fall landscape refresh! Come see our Extension Master Gardener Volunteers for their fall plant sale Monday through Thursday of this week, from 10am to 2pm each day. They will be set up on the bridge entrance at the Chowan County Extension Office, located 730 North Granville Street in Edenton. Houseplants, natives, trees and much more! 🌿🌷

At their October club meeting, the Edenton Eagles explored the journey food takes from the farm to the grocery store. In pairs, youth mapped how eggs, bread, chicken nuggets, milk, peanut butter and corn make their way to grocery store shelves. We wrapped up our meeting by making our own peanut butter and decorating thank-you cards for our local farmers. These cards will be distributed at the Chowan County Cooperative Extension Farmer Appreciation Breakfast in November as a small way to say THANK YOU! 🍀🚜💚
