💙 Heart of Our Hometown – May Spotlight 💙
The Eclectic Network is proud to recognize Maggie DiGiovanni as our May “Heart of Our Hometown” honoree.
When asked what makes her proud to call Eclectic home, Maggie shared:
“The friendly people, whether friends or professional, they make everyone feel welcome.”
She also shared that she wishes the world knew:
“Our people will help in every way possible and to make life good for all.”
Maggie was born here, later moved away, and eventually returned to Eclectic when her brother became ill. She says, “Glad I came back.”
Maggie continues to give back to this community in countless ways. She volunteers many hours at the Eclectic Public Library, helping with book sales, museum tours, and sharing information about the library with visitors and residents alike. She is also very active in the Eclectic Senior Center and recently dedicated significant time and effort toward preparing the grant for the new Senior Center bus that was recently approved.
Her servant heart, dedication, and love for this community truly help make Eclectic a better place.
