It is a part of UAB/COA & their Pediatric Heart Center. Supported also by Childrens Harbor & Castin’ & Catchin’ WIRED together is a family camp created for young people with life-affecting heart disease. It is a place where people share similar paths and challenges. Our hope is to use this as an opportunity to encourage, educate, develop new friendships, have fun and enjoy beautiful Lake Martin at
Children’s Harbor. We stay in air-conditioned cabins that sleep 5, have private bathrooms and a shared porch overlooking the lake. All meals, activities, classes, crafts & entertainment are included. We meet once a year and it takes the help of a lot of people to make it happen. Some of our sponsors include Children's Harbor, Children’s of Alabama, Castin & Catchin & some grass roots donations through bake sales etc. WIRED together takes place at Children's Harbor on Lake Martin - Children's Harbor donates their facilities for our camp.
