Lake Martin Animal Rescue NO- KILL & NON-PROFIT 501c3 Animal Rescue helping the helpless animals of our community. Fostering saves lives! venmo-

Other ways to help include sharing our posts, Foster, adopt, or donating to one of our life saving programs. Our goal here is to rescue and educate. I have always loved animals and have been a pet owner since I was a small child. I have always been the one to take in every stray that showed up at my home and pick up every stray or lost animal I would see. I have picked up dogs, cats, birds, rodents, and even a llama once. I have found owners of lost animals and seen the beautiful reunion of ones that I have been able to get back home. I try to educate pet owners on how to keep their pets with them and to be there for those animals that just need some love and care. I will rescue those animals which have been neglected or abused and rehabilitate them. If you are interested in helping in any way please contact me via email or private message. Foster homes are always needed as well. Donations can be made by paypal at [email protected]

Found dog after storms on Saturday. All shelters have been contacted by finder and none would take this pup in because this was in Coosa County. The pup was vetted today at our vet and finders are fostering. Please share and if you are the owner contact us with proof of ownership at [email protected]

The next group leaving is just as cute as the last. These cuties have one more vaccine to receive this week before they get to hop on transport up north. We are so blessed to be able to save so many wonderful pups.

Another life saved and another trip to meet transport in Macon Georgia. This morning I had to load up and leave before daylight with this cutie. Once on the road we had to turn around and reroute due to a tree blocking the roadway. After we got into north east Alabama and closer to GA we had smooth roads and no more debris. It turned out to be a nice drive.
