Chippewa Valley Railroad Take a half-mile train ride on the CVRR through the scenic woods of Carson Park in Eau Claire, WI. Tickets - Children $2, Adults $3.

Open noon to 5pm, Sundays and Holidays, Memorial Day to Labor Day, including the 4th of July. We have two Steam Locomotives and one Diesel Locomotive to power either the late-1800’s mixed train (yellow train) or the 1950’s streamliner (red train). Trains run from 12-5 pm on Sunday’s and Holidays from Memorial Day to Labor Day (this includes the Fourth of July, but DOES NOT include the Sunday of Me

morial Day weekend). Tickets are available onsite and cost $3/Adult (13+), $2/child (3-12), and FREE for 2 and under. We are currently able to accept cash, check, or Venmo.

Looking up from Half Moon Lake August 2, 2026 at Lakeside. 8101 and four coaches on its way around the 1/2 mile. The majority of the track is in the woods. The day, deer were sighted from the train. They come up from the lake to find something to eat.
