Thank you to everyone who applied to join the Eau Claire Youth Hockey Board of Directors. There were 5 open seats and the new board members voted in my the members of ECYH are:

Shane Beck (re-elected)
Pat Rolbiecki (re-elected)
Chris Lombardo (re-elected)
Mike Janda
Danika Reed-Probst

There are still many roles that need to be filled within ECYH and we will be reaching out to see how people are interested and serving as we all work together to grow boys and girls hockey in the area by providing the best experience we can for the players and their families!

Good luck to all of the boys participating in the Kohlman Cup this weekend!

The Kohlman Cup is a weekend tournament with kids trying out to represent their region in the tournament. The Kohlman Cup is limited exclusively to Tier II P*e Wee Players.

The weekend includes games and a skills competition. At the end of the weekend, some of the players are selected to the All-Tournament Team as the best players across the state playing Tier II hockey.

The boys tournament is March 20-22nd in Janesville, WI and the girls tournament is April 11-12th in Eagle River, MN.

We’ll all be supporting the P*ewee 1A team and the Chippewa Valley River Hawks Girls Hockey 10U Gold and 10U Bronze teams this weekend!

The Eau Claire Youth Hockey Association will have 5 positions becoming available on the Board of Directors.

Submit your application by March 15, 2026 to be considered for voting. Voting will run from March 16, 2026 to March 27, 2026. Elected members will be announced around March 30, 2026 with the new term beginning in April 2026.

Apply for a position on the ECYH Board of Directors if:
🏒 You’d like to have an impact on youth hockey in Eau Claire
🏒 You have great ideas and valuable skills to help grow hockey and provide a great experience for youth hockey families.
🏒 You can consistently attend the Board Meetings one evening every month.
🏒 You have an interest in being deeply involved in at least one of the great committees driving ECYH forward.

The Board of Directors is a great way to put those ideas and skills to good use for youth hockey!!

Complete the form below by the end of the day on March 15, 2026 to throw your hat in the ring!

From there, current members can vote for the board members from March 16, 2026 through March 27, 2026. Current members are allowed 1 vote for each player they have in the association.

The elected Board Members will be announced by March 30, 2026.

The association members will be voting on 5 people to join the Board of Directors this year and we are looking for great people to join our growing organization!

With the Olympic Games wrapping up and the USA bringing home gold in hockey and figure skating, we're reminded of what's possible when passion meets persistence.

Every Olympian once stood in a local rink, looking up at banners and imagining their name among them someday.

At Hobbs Ice Arena, we believe that same possibility exists for every skater who steps onto our ice. Through the leadership of Eau Claire Youth Hockey Association and Eau Claire Figure Skating Club, athletes are learning more than just skills - they're learning discipline, resilience, teamwork, and confidence.

Gold medals may be won on the world stage, but they're built in moments like these - early mornings, extra reps, one more drill, one more run-through.
