The Association of the US Army (AUSA) Monmouth Chapter is a 100% volunteer organization providing unique military support to soldiers, veterans of all services, and family members in the greater Monmouth County Region. The Monmouth Chapter of AUSA is dedicated to support the objectives of the national AUSA organization with particular focus on the interests and needs of the local Monmouth, New Jer
sey community. It serves as the liaison between the Army and local civilian communities, and helps educate the public about the needs for a strong national defense and the Army. AUSA is a private, nonprofit, professional educational Association of over 85,000 individual, business and organization members dedicated to maintaining a strong national defense with special emphasis on land-power and the essential role of the United States Army. The objectives of AUSA are:

The Monmouth Chapter, with approximately 350 Individual Members and 20 Business Establishments of Corporate America, has been repeatedly recognized for success in furtherance of these objectives, to include multiple consecutive National Honor Awards for "Most Active Chapter in Pursuit of AUSA Objectives. Chapter Support to the Community
What we do locally:
AUSA chapters support our deployed Soldiers and the families who are left behind. Fundraising:
• Provide fundraising opportunities for school bus trips to the NJ Vietnam Veteran Memorial and Museum. Provide support to raise awareness about the Memorial
• Support to the Fisher House Foundation providing family members access to “comfort homes” at military and VA medical centers during the hospitalization of family members.
• Host Fun Runs, Receptions, Wine Tastings and other events to raise funds for our Soldiers
Raise Awareness
• Promote public awareness of Veteran employment issues through information briefings to local civic and veterans’ organizations
• Promote public awareness about our Army and our Soldiers through events such as Army Birthday, National Guard and Reserve Birthday Celebrations
Soldier Support
• Support Soldier support activities in local installations by participating in ceremonies and donating achievement awards, such as Operation Sustainment Warrior (77th Sustainment Brigade)
• Give Recognition awards for Officer Candidate School in Sea Girt
• Organize care packages for our deployed Soldiers
Education
• Provide Citizen Scholarship Programs, to recognize students with leadership skills that are making a difference in our community.
• Attend and support commemorative events at Brookdale Community College
