United Way of Monmouth and Ocean Counties bridges the gaps to education, financial stability and health for every person in our community. UWMOC makes it easy for volunteers to give their time and talent – and for nonprofit agencies to connect with volunteers – through our Volunteer Center. UWMOC funds NJ 2-1-1, a statewide help line and website that connects you with local and government resources. It’s a free and easy way to find help for many needs like food, housing, healthcare, legal services, drug treatment, jobs assistance, childcare, mental health services, transportation, financial assistance and more. We are so proud to celebrate the ribbon-cutting of New Jersey’s FIRST Born Learning STEAM Trail at Sycamore Park!

This interactive outdoor learning experience gives young children and their caregivers the opportunity to explore, play, and learn together through activities focused on Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math (STEAM).

A special thank you to everyone who helped bring this project to life, including our UWMOC Board, Advisory Council and Staff, whose funding made the first trail possible! We are also grateful to Airline Hydraulics for generously donating the posts for the trail signs and the Borough of Tinton Falls for their partnership and support in making this possible.
