Academy of Warren
Anti Bullying Rally

Mr. Thomas was invited to be the guest speaker for the Academy of Warren Anti Bullying Rally, Friday. Mrs. Davis and I spoke to the entire K- 8 students. Breaking the word bully down to mean Be U Learn to Love Yourself. The Harper woods High school band and dancers and the Warren police department were on program as well.

Men’s Mission Trip Summary

Our men’s mission trip was an unforgettable journey filled with meaningful connections, cultural experiences, and moments of inspiration.

We began in Baltimore, where we were honored guests of Under Armour. Ms. Skies and the entire Under Armour team welcomed us with exceptional hospitality. While there, we also toured the Mozarto Studio, gaining insight into creative and entrepreneurial endeavors.

In Washington, D.C., we explored the National Museum of African American History and Culture and visited several historic memorials, deepening our understanding of our nation’s heritage and the sacrifices that shaped it.

Our journey continued to New York City, where we paid our respects at the World Trade Center Memorial, experienced the vibrant energy of Times Square, and visited Staten Island. A highlight of the trip came when the boys had the incredible opportunity to play basketball at the world-famous Rucker Park.

This trip was more than travel; it was a time of fellowship, learning, and memories that will last a lifetime.
