SASES is a membership society open to Scots, their descendants and friends of Scotland. All welcome. St. Our aim is to perpetuate Scottish culture and traditions.

Andrews Society of the Eastern Shore is a social and benevolent organization. Membership in the Society is available to both men and women of Scottish birth or ancestry. The Society is an independent organization and is not affiliated with any religious or secular group.

The Kirkin of the Tartan is this Sunday 9/20 at Christ Church St Michaels. Bagpipes, tradition and Scottish pageantry wrapped into a beautiful church service!
SASES members- to process in meet in the post office parking lot next to Christ Church by 9:15 AM or sit in the first 2 pews by the service start time of 9:30 AM. The Caledonian Pipes and Drums during and following the service.

SASES Members-You Made This Happen! Be proud, your support and your Foundation are making a difference! The first awardee of our St Andrews Foundation of the Eastern Shore Summer Study Abroad Scholarship landed in Scotland this week starting her 3 week University of St Andrews study abroad program where she is joining students from around the globe.

As high school junior Greta Holyer boards a plane bound for Scotland this week, she is not just beginning a summer adventure. She is making history as the first recipient of the St. Andrew’s Foundation of the Eastern Shore’s Summer Study Abroad Scholarship.

The Easton Holiday Parade and the St Michaels Christmas Parade were AWESOME this year. Our Society presented a strong turnout and had lots of fun marching! An evening to celebrate the life and poetry of Robert Burns and all things Scottish for a good cause. Poetry enacted by our own Bard, Peregrine Russell- Hunter, music by Randy Welsh, haggis, fine food, scotch, w**e and more.
