The Talbot County Free Seed Library will open in mid-May 2017 at the Easton, Md., branch of the Talbot County Free Library. All are invited to take seeds home, plant them in your garden and save seeds at the end of the season to donate back to the library. A variety of fruit, vegetable, herb and flower seeds are available. We'll have resources available to help get you started! The Talbot County F

Thank you to the lovely ladies of the Talbot County Women’s Club for helping us stuff the donated wildflower seeds into packets! The wildflower drawer in Easton is full and black-eyed susans have been added to the flower drawer as well. These seeds are also on their way to Saint Michaels!

A big thank you to the Garden Clubs of the Eastern Shore for donating funds that enabled us to buy *6 pounds* of wildflower seed! Planting meadows helps attract and feed pollinators, beautifies the landscape and helps reduce the amount of turf grass (and therefore fertilizer used and potential runoff).

Another group will be helping us package all of this seed starting next week. It takes a village to keep the seed library going! We’ll post again when this seed becomes available!
