Lots of soccer fun scheduled for next Saturday June 27th. Thank you to Blackstone Valley Tourism Council, East Providence Youth Soccer Association, New England Revolution, Santander, Kevin Matos, Cafe Alma, Underground Sound, Loja Portugal, Campino's, Ebisu.2, Brands of Portugal, Rhody Food Truck Events, Ocean Fish Market, Seleções de Portugal, City of East Providence Public Works, East Providence Police, and the East Providence Fire Department.
Special shout out to R.I. General Treasurer James Diossa who accepted our challenge to a fun soccer game at Pierce Memorial Stadium on Saturday June 27th at 4pm as a warm up to the big game block party on Warren Ave. I heard he has some big time talent in his Team Diossa Colombia Team. No worries we have held tryouts for the Portugal team and I hope to send out an email soon with those who made the team.
Thanks to our city staff who have been working extra hard to help coordinate and make this event lots of fun and successful. I’m sure I missed acknowledging some of the people participating to make this a fun event. If I did please, please leave their name in the comments below.
