4 DAYS until Teaticket welcomes our little Tigers back into the building — and this year, they’re coming back to some pretty amazing new grounds AND a brand-new playground!

But before those little feet come running in, our favorite Teaticket alum, Jeffrey Rose of Rose Lawn Care Services LLC, is back at it going above and beyond for Teaticket… AGAIN!!!!!

He’s been hard at work leveling, prepping, getting that grass ready to grow and, most importantly, making sure everything looks GOOD

Jeffrey and his crew have been part of this project from start to finish, showing up whenever we needed them and somehow always saying, “We got it.”

So if you see Jeffrey or his crew around town, give them a BIG thank you. They’ve put a whole lot of time, work and love into making sure our Tigers have something pretty special to come back to

Swing on over — our brand-new playground is officially ready for PLAY!

I took my family yesterday for the first time, and within minutes we ran into friends we hadn’t seen all summer. And I thought… THIS. This is exactly what we were missing.

A place for families to gather.
A place for kids to climb, swing, slide and burn off all that energy.
And, maybe most importantly, a place for parents to sit down for five seconds and pretend they’re relaxing.

I won’t lie, watching it all brought a little tear to my eye.

This playground was built with love, determination, a slightly unhinged amount of intensity, and at record-breaking speed. We didn’t monkey around — we wanted our kids back on a playground, and this community made it happen.

And now? The hard work is over. It’s time for the fun part.

So swing by. Slide down the slides. Conquer the monkey bars. Make new friends. Run into old ones. Stay way longer than you planned.

Fill this place with laughs, friendships and a whole lot of new memories.

We built it. Now go PLAY.

Friends, we’re SO close!

We’re less than one week away from having a brand-new playground ready to play on, but we need one last favor: PLEASE stay off while the rubber sets 🛝

We promise, the wait is almost over. Let’s make sure it’s one week and not longer because someone decided the signs were more of a suggestion.

Promise to announce it’s open as soon as it’s safe to play 🫶🏻

We’re almost there!!
The finish line is in sight… but we need one last favor from everyone.

The BEST parts are happening right now — the final rubber surfacing where our ship meets the ocean — but it needs a little more time to dry.
So for just a little longer…

Please protect our playground 🧡🐅🛝

Hello Teaticket Families and Community Members -

If you've been in the area recently, you know that our new playground structure is nearing completion! We know our students and families are eagerly looking forward to enjoying this exciting new space, and we can't wait to see it filled with laughter and play.

As we enter the final phase of construction this week, the installation crews will be laying the rubber safety surface. To ensure it cures properly, we kindly ask that all visitors stay off of the playground area throughout the week and remain off the playground grounds until the work is complete.

Thank you for your patience and cooperation as we put the finishing touches on this wonderful addition to our school. We hope you are all having an incredible summer, and we are just as excited as you and your children are to enjoy our beautiful new playground very soon!

Smiles? Oh, we’ve got plenty of those! 😄

Fresh asphalt yesterday—thank you, Lawrence-Lynch Corp.! And today? Our playground is looking more complete than ever.

Most of the pieces are officially attached, and if you look closely… you’ll spot not one, but TWO brand-new slides! 🛝👀

Watching it all come together has us grinning from ear to ear. We can’t wait for the big reveal

We can’t thank you enough. Without each and every one of you, we’d still be looking at an empty lot and sad eyes. Instead, we’re watching our playground come to life right before our eyes. We’ve loved getting the messages and pictures from neighbors who keep spotting new equipment and progress before we do!

And we’re not finished yet…

Slides are coming.
Asphalt is next.
Rubber surfacing is on the way.

Today’s progress is just another reminder that this dream is becoming a reality—because of you. 🛝💙
