People For Cats We are a non-profit no kill organization that is run solely by volunteers on donated funds, food.

People for Cats also finds suitable homes for adoptable homeless cats. Each calendar year we are proud that we have placed approximately 250 cats in homes. We also reduce the feral population with our trap,spay/neuter
and release program. We want to educate the public on how to prevent overpopulation, the importance of taking their pets to the vets once a year for booster shots and a general health exam. Please call our hotline or email us if you have any concerns.

Meet Mercedes and Michael, two brown tabby beauties! Mercedes, with the lighter hue, is a playful sweetheart. She loves attention, long petting sessions and purrs forever. Mercedes is curious and much more daring than her bigger brother who is usually tagging along not far behind. She likes cuddling in blankets and snuggling by your side.
Michael is certainly more reserved than his sister. He is often found tucked away in a quiet corner, but once you gain his trust, he becomes much more vocal and attention seeking. He can’t go long without his sister by his side and enjoys playing with her often. Once food is present, Michael’s shy personality quickly fades and he will become your best friend too!

ADOPTED TODAY 10/10/26

Lavender(Tabby) seems to have been born believing that she is half kitten, half puppy. She is curious, playful, and brave in the face of unfamiliar or noisy situations (hello vacuum cleaner). No matter what she is doing (chasing a ball, killing a stuffed mouse, eating ...), if you scoop her up, her brain automatically shifts into cuddle mode. She settles into your arms purring and head-butting your face. When she wants attention, she will jump on your lap, try to climb your legs, or simply find your hand and shove her head under it. Make room on your pillow - that will likely be her favorite place to sleep.

Her sister, Lotus(White) is a striking, beautiful girl who, at first meeting, seems to be her polar opposite. However, with patience and time, Lotus has proven to be just as loving. Lotus and Lavender are ready to settle together into the comfy furrever home they deserve.

Our family would like to let everyone at People for Cats know what a love and amazing edition Chester has been ! He was shy for about 3 days and after that its was all toys and treats🤣🤣 It didn't take him long to find the snack drawer! Hes been taking turns with his new sister Tink running up and down the hall and tackling each other and they've joined forces in keeping our chihuahua Moxie in line🤣🤣🤣 He stole Tinks cat tunnel (she's not to happy about that one!!)So I'd like to send you a little Pic to see what Chester's up to this afternoon!(aka Chester Cheeto)

Kimchi is an orange tabby female with a tail bent like lucky number 7. She can be shy at first, but would love nothing more than to make biscuits on the blanket next to you on the couch. Kimchi was transferred up from Florida, and she's excited for her life in Massachusetts. She enjoys playing laser pointer with her sister, Katsu. Kimchi is a budding lap cat who is interested in cuddles and watching her sister run around. Kimchi is spayed, up to date on her shots and microchipped. She is now looking for a loving home.
Kimchi and Katsu are a bonded pair who will be adopted together.

Katsu
Katsu is an orange tabby female with a short tail. She is vocal when she wants attention and snuggles. Katsu was transferred up from Florida, and she's excited for her life in Massachusetts. She loves being pet and head butting her human. She has lots of energy and loves to play with anything available especially her sister, Kimchi. Once Katsu has burned up her energy, she would love to cuddle up with her human on the couch. Katsu is spayed, up to date on her shots and microchipped. She is now looking for a loving home.

Katsu and Kimchi are a bonded pair who will be adopted together.
