Talented young artists are taking over the Dunwoody Village! Create Dunwoody presents the 5th Annual Storefront Art Exhibit, a public art initiative that turns business windows in Dunwoody Village into a walkable gallery featuring the work of Dunwoody High School student artists. This summer, fifteen selected pieces will be displayed in storefronts throughout the Village after being submitted by DHS art students, ranked by local business owners, and approved by the Dunwoody Art Commission. Each selected student artist receives a $200 award. The City of Dunwoody is a proud partner and funder of this initiative. Thanks to DHS Principal Tom Bass for his leadership (and enthusiasm!) and to DHS art teachers Amy Goertemiller and Claire Zimmerman for supporting the program. Help us celebrate these young artists and the vibrant creative spirit of our community. Discover Dunwoody, GA

A huge thank you to everyone who came out for Create Dunwoody’s AAPI Cultural Celebration.

We’re so grateful to our performers, exhibitors, volunteers, sponsors, and attendees for helping create such a joyful afternoon filled with culture, community, and beautiful performances. We enjoyed seeing and learning about traditional attire from ten countries.

Thank you to the talented artists of the Dunwoody Fine Art Association, musician T. Collie, Marriott Atlanta Perimeter Center, and everyone who joined us for an evening celebrating creativity and community.

We loved seeing guests connect with the artists, enjoy the artwork, and experience how the arts can bring people together in Dunwoody.

Create Dunwoody would like to thank everyone for an incredible year of promoting arts and culture in the city of Dunwoody! None of our events or programming would be possible without the unwavering support of the Dunwoody community, and all of the volunteers and sponsors that helped bring our events to life. ✨

We’re looking forward to the new year and what we have in store, including the Dunwoody Comedy Festival in January and the Black History Month Celebration on the first of February!
