Our newest arrival is settling in nicely. Syria snuggled right up to him and fell asleep. Both have full bellies! I needed a boy name to go with Syria…I was thinking about the name Turk, but I settled finally on Otto.

My first baby of the season. We think she may have been displaced during a nest raid by a predator. She is a survivor, so we have named her Syria.

The animal shelter said dogs are at risk of euthanization due to overcrowding, stating that at least 150 dogs need homes by the end of the week.
