Happy St. Brigid’s Day! February 1 is the Feast of St. Brigid in Ireland and she is remembered for her miracles associated with healing. If you are the praying type, offer a prayer tonight to our namesake.

Prayer to Saint Brigid
Brigid,
You were a woman of peace.
You brought harmony where
there was conflict.
You brought light to the darkness.
You brought hope to the downcast.
May the mantle of your peace cover
those who are troubled and anxious,
and may peace be firmly rooted
in our hearts and in our world.
Inspire us to act justly and
to reverence all God has made.
Brigid, you were a voice for
the wounded and the weary.
Strengthen what is weak within us.
Calm us into a quietness
that heals and listens.
May we grow each day into greater
wholeness in mind, body and spirit.

The COVID crisis has pushed our nurses to the brink. Do all that you can to support them - wear a mask, wash your hands, stay home if you're sick!

Thank you to WSB-TV's Linda Stouffer for a terrific story on reaching all 50 states! With the vaccine now providing even greater hope to our nurses, the bracelets will always be a reminder to our frontline heroes of how loved and appreciated they are.

Brigid Quinn began making bead bracelets for nurses to say thank you. Now she can't stop.

We did it!! Last package of bracelets on its way to the 50th state: North Dakota!

We still have about 200 to go, but Brigid is proud to have reached nurses in all 50 states.

We are SOOO close! Mailing out three more packages tomorrow, and then will have three states to go: West Virginia, Arkansas and North Dakota.

With COVID infections reaching new records, we’re proud to spread more love to nurses who are working so hard to help their patients and keep themselves safe.
