Paradigm Coffee Company is a locally owned and operated business that roasts its coffee beans right here in Dubuque. Their roasting house on Cedar Cross Road supplies the fresh-roasted coffee that has become a favorite throughout the community, while their coffeehouse and whole-food menu at 955 Washington Street provide a welcoming space to gather, connect, and enjoy locally crafted food and beverages.
One of the highlights of the celebration was seeing the next generation help cut the ribbon—a reminder that behind many of our local businesses are families, hard work, and a commitment to building something that lasts.

🚧 JULIEN DUBUQUE BRIDGE PROJECT BEGINS JUNE 1 🚧

The Iowa Department of Transportation will begin a multi-phase repair project on the Julien Dubuque Bridge (U.S. Highway 20) starting Monday, June 1, with impacts expected through mid-September.

The project will include:
• Daytime eastbound lane closures in June
• A full bridge closure during July
• Daytime westbound lane closures through mid-September

Businesses, employees, visitors, and commuters are encouraged to plan ahead for increased travel times and regional detours throughout the project.

Detour routes will utilize the Iowa-Wisconsin Bridge via U.S. 61/151 and Wisconsin Highways 11 & 35.

Additional project impacts:
• Pedestrian and bicycle access across the bridge will be closed during construction
• A free shuttle service will be available between Dubuque and East Dubuque for pedestrians and cyclists

This bridge is a vital regional connection for workforce movement, commerce, tourism, and everyday travel throughout the tri-state area. We encourage businesses to communicate potential delays with employees, customers, vendors, and service partners in advance.
