Good morning Phlock!

The Grand Opera House is looking for help haunting their haunted house this Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday. This is open to anyone that has a desire to scare the heck out of people! If you would like to help out on any or all of the days, let me know, and I will get you the contact information.

Hello Spooky people!
The Haunted House is approaching quickly! Thank you to everyone who has come in to help get things going.

This weekend I am going to be working out where all of our performers will be inside the Haunted House. If you have not already sent me your availability please do so as soon as you possibly can. Here are the dates and times for everything:

Thursday, October 25th everyone called at 5:30pm ("soft Opening" we will do a very short light fright then convert to full fright)
Friday - Monday, October 26th - 29th

Light fright called at 5:30. The final Light Fright tour goes through at 7:30pm - we should be done by 8:00pm.

Full Fright called at 7:15 - the last tour would be at 11:00pm - we will have snacks in the lobby afterward like last year.

You do not need to participate in all of the performance nights. Also, if you have any limitations on what you can do (i.e. you are claustrophobic, afraid of spiders, bees, snakes, bats, chainsaw, werewolves...etc, you cannot be by strobe lights, you cannot be near the fog machines etc.)

Good morning Phlockers,

It is with mixed feeling that I announce, this will be the Dubuque Phlockers last official One Particular Harbor party. I am very proud that a club our size was able to raise over $100,000 for local charities in 11 short years! You all have had a part in this, whether you were on the organizing side, or the party with a purposes side, each one of you has helped to make this possible. We are asking for your support one last time. We would love to fill all of Catfish Charlie's American Lady's 133 seats for a great afternoon cruise on the Mississippi River. There will be free draft beer and snacks on the boat. once you land dockside, you can purchase a beer bracelet for $10.00 that will allow you to drink Charlie's great brewed beer from 5:30 to 7:30. We will have music from our own Pirate over 50 , silent and live auctions as well as 50/50 raffles. We plan to have the main event wrapped up by 8:00. We then can sit back and reminisce over the past 11 years of being a Phlocker!

The 90 minute cruise boards at 3:00 and is $30.00 per person. Charlie will have a plated Hog Dinner for $18.00

We would love to see you all at Catfish Charlie's next weekend whether you can make the entire event, just stop down to bid on some items, or just stop by to have a drink with old phriends.

We will be having an OPH Meeting Wednesday at 6:00 @ Spirits Bar and Grill to pass out flyers and event tickets. We will also It looks like the backdrop is now sold, so we will be talking about what to do with the storage unit items we have left.

I am very sorry for the short notice, but my brain was on vacation for the past few weeks.

We are calling for nominations to run for Club office. All positions are up for renewal. ALL of the current board members would like to allow someone else to have a chance at a board position. In order to give the club some new life, I will not be running for the President position again.

Let me know which board position you would be interested in, and I will get you on the ballot!

Hi Phlock - With this beautiful weather, it is time for some outdoor socials.

The June social will be held at the Yard Arm on Thursday, June 14th. Live music by Tanner Scheckel starts at 6:00 pm.

For July, we will meet at Spirits Bar Grill for a deck party in which Steve Cavanaugh & Randy Droessler will be performing from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm. This event will be on Friday, July 13th.

Phun times ahead filled with live music, drinks and sunshine! Hope you can join us!!!

Island Fever Showcase – Labor Day Weekend 2018

Hi Phlock - Reminder that we have our January Social this Friday night at the Q Casino. Come check out the Southern Drawl Band - music starts at 8:00 pm.

Also, to get ready for the big game on February 4th, we are going to have our social that morning. We will meet at 10:00 am at the Hy-Vee on Locust for a Sunday Brunch complete with Bloody Marys and Mimosas. The cost of the brunch is $14.99 per person (or you can order off the menu) and you can get unlimited Bloody Marys and Mimosas for only $9.00.

I have a table reserved but want to get an approximate count prior to that day so please let me know if you can join use.

Happy New Year Phlock! Hope everyone is staying warm - only 75 days until spring!!!

Thanks to all that attended the December social - we had a great turn out, tons of fun and were able to donate supplies and other items to the Dubuque Humane Society!

For our January social, I hope you can all make it down to check out the Southern Drawl Band (for those that haven't seen this band before, you don't want to miss it!). The Southern Drawl Band is from Knoxville and Nashville, Tennessee and is "Southern Rockin' Country music with a twist of lime distilled in the backwoods of Tennessee." It is a free show and will be at the Q Casino on Friday, January 26th, from 8:00 pm to 11:00 pm.

There are also a couple other great events happening in January that involve our very own Phlockers.

This Sunday (January 7th), A Pirate Over Fifty will be at Sundown Mountain Resort from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm. For those that attended his January show last year at Sundown, it was a blast!

Also, Steve Cavanaugh and Randy Droessler will be playing at Spirits Bar & Grill on Friday, January 12th from 8:00 pm to midnight.

Reminder - the next Phlocker Business Meeting will be at Spirits Bar & Grill on Wednesday, January 17th.
