For Westgate resident Eunice Tellez, a career in healthcare started with a drive to help others. After working as a CNA, a conversation with an NICC program developer inspired her to step into phlebotomy. Balancing her 120-hour clinical rotation with raising two children, Eunice completed her training debt-free thanks to NICC scholarship support.

Today, Eunice brings both technical precision and natural empathy—along with her bilingual background—to put patients at ease during draw procedures.
