Wednesday, we had an excellent ExecCONNECT workshop with Fran LaMattina exploring happiness, purpose, relationships, and what it truly means to live the good life, inspired by the work of Arthur C. Brooks.

We had a great time at our latest ExecCONNECT workshop featuring Libby Glasgow!

Libby shared incredibly valuable insight and important updates surrounding HR law for nonprofits, giving our nonprofit leaders practical knowledge they can take back to their organizations and teams immediately. These conversations are so important as we continue to strengthen and support the nonprofit community across the Wiregrass.

We’re grateful for everyone who took the time to participate, engage, ask questions, and learn alongside us. And a special thank you to Libby for sharing her expertise and helping equip our nonprofit leaders to better serve our community!

And, we can't forget to thank The Cellar - Fine Steaks & Wines for a delicious lunch!

What a great start to the 2026 ExecCONNECT workshop series! Executive Coach Fran LaMattina guided us through an insightful conversation on volunteerism, from turning volunteers into mission partners to appreciating and sustaining those who give their time.

We also celebrated several nonprofit directors who completed a speech training session with Savannah Granberry of Wallace Community College. Their newfound confidence in sharing their organization’s story will benefit our entire community.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and to The Cellar - Fine Steaks & Wines for lunch. We’re excited for a year filled with meaningful and impactful workshops!

We were honored to kickoff another year of CapCONNECT with an inspiring message from Liz Huntley! With more than 100 people in the room representing over 30 nonprofits, the energy, collaboration, and shared commitment to service were truly powerful. It was an encouraging reminder of what is possible when leaders come together with a common purpose to strengthen our community!

Thank you to The Forum-Downtown Dothan for hosting us, and Celebrations Dothan for providing a delicious breakfast!
