💜 Your Dollars at Work: 1,060 Requests Fulfilled!

Thanks to the generosity of our donors, we're able to turn your dollars into meaningful support for local patients and their families. When cancer patients enroll in New Promise Cancer Foundation's Financial Assistance Program, they can request help in the areas where they need it most, whether that's groceries, transportation to treatment, medical bills, utilities, mortgage payments, or other essential expenses.

So far this year, we've fulfilled 1,060 requests for assistance from cancer patients right here in the Wiregrass! Each request represents a burden eased, a need met, and one less worry for someone navigating a cancer diagnosis. 💜

We had the wonderful opportunity to join a local women's bowling league for their October breast cancer awareness celebration! 🎳

Thank you for inviting New Promise Cancer Foundation to be part of such a special morning! These ladies come together each week for bowling, friendship, and fun, and it was so meaningful to see them celebrate Breast Cancer Awareness Month this October by honoring those who have been affected by cancer! 🩷

We are grateful for opportunities like this to connect with our community, share the mission of New Promise, and celebrate the amazing people who make our community so special. Thank you for including us in such a fun and meaningful morning! ☺️

WHAT A NIGHT! 🀄💜
We are so incredibly grateful to the Krewe of Phoenix for hosting Tiles for Hope and choosing New Promise Cancer Foundation as the beneficiary of such a fun and meaningful evening! The event was a huge success with beautiful mahjong tablescapes, incredible prizes, and more! We are so appreciative of everyone who helped make the night a special one to remember.
A heartfelt THANK YOU to the Krewe of Phoenix, their volunteers, sponsors, and everyone who came out to play, support, and make a difference. Your generosity and commitment to our community mean so much to us and to the patients and families we serve! We are so thankful to have organizations like the Krewe of Phoenix in our community who believe in the mission of New Promise and help us continue our work of providing support to local cancer patients and their families! 💙

Behind every gift is a story, and for the Dupree Family Foundation, that story begins with Cecil and Linda Dupree. 💙

Long before their success in business, Cecil and Linda shared a passion for recognizing a need and finding a way to help. Early in their adult lives, they traveled to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital with their team and a robot, hoping to bring smiles and moments of joy to children undergoing treatment. That desire to create a brighter tomorrow for all of God's children became the heart behind the Dupree Family Foundation.

Cecil’s life was taken far too soon at the age of 61 following a heart attack, but Linda continued carrying forward the legacy they built together. Even as she faced her own battle with cancer in the final years of her life, her heart remained focused on helping others. Throughout her journey with cancer, Linda developed a deep compassion for others walking a similar road, particularly those facing added financial challenges during an already difficult time. She had a simple but meaningful desire: to help make the journey a little easier for someone else.

Today, her family continues to honor that heart for others through their generous support of New Promise Cancer Foundation. We are incredibly grateful for the Dupree Family Foundation and for the opportunity to see Linda’s compassion continue to touch the lives of cancer patients and families throughout our community. Her legacy reminds us that sometimes the greatest impact begins with simply seeing a need and choosing to help. 💙

These thoughtful care packages are a beautiful reminder that sometimes the smallest acts of kindness can make a big difference to someone going through cancer treatment. We appreciate Covenant for thinking of our patients and helping us bring a little extra comfort, encouragement, and joy to their day!
