May is Mental Health Awareness Month — and in the Wiregrass, it's a reminder of how this community works together to lift up EVERYONE.
More than half of Alabamians living with mental illness don't get the care they need — not because they don't want help, but because they can't afford it. Financial stress and mental health are deeply connected, and for the 46% of Alabama households struggling to make ends meet, access to care can feel out of reach.
That's why agencies like Living Waters Counseling and SpectraCare Health Systems matter so much. They show up for our neighbors when the weight gets heavy — offering counseling, crisis support, and the kind of care that can truly change the trajectory of someone's life.
When you give to Wiregrass United Way, you're helping make sure that support is there when someone needs it most. 💙

What does it mean to be a Loaned Executive?
It means you show up — for your coworkers, your community, and the families across six Wiregrass counties who are counting on this campaign to succeed.
Loaned Executives lead workplace giving efforts on behalf of Wiregrass United Way, and the impact of their work is felt all year long. Last campaign, your generosity helped us reach our goal. That doesn't happen without people willing to step up.
