A great day connecting with community leaders! Our CEO, Walter Hill, had the opportunity to speak at Leadership Dothan’s Nonprofit Day and share a little about what we do at Wiregrass United Way. Thank you to Leadership Dothan for including us and helping shine a light on the important work happening throughout our community!

It’s campaign time at Dothan City Schools! ❤️ DCS kicked off their Wiregrass United Way campaign last week, where school campaign coordinators had the chance to hear from Julie Gonzalez with the Wiregrass Area Food Bank.

Starting Monday, they’ll be taking the United Way message into schools across DCS. Thank you, Dothan City Schools, for another year of supporting United Way and the Wiregrass! 🙌

One of our favorite moments from the M1 Support Services/IAM Local 2003 kickoff! 🇺🇸❤️ The Vivian B. Adams School Choir did an incredible job singing the National Anthem and helping us kick off another United Way campaign.

Take a listen! 🎶

It's United Way Wednesday! 🩵 Last week, Paige Knight with Mary Hill Family Service Center joined WTVY’s Live at Lunch to talk about the important work happening at Mary Hill and the impact of United Way support in our community. We’re grateful to Paige for sharing more about the people they serve and the difference local support makes right here in the Wiregrass.

Paige Knight tells us all about how this organization has impacted the community and how Wiregrass United Way helps them get that done.

Southeast Gas held an early morning United Way meeting and heard from Lilly Flowers with the Exchange Center for Child Abuse Prevention about the impact they’re making in the Wiregrass.

And our smallest volunteer helped pass out brochures! 😉 Thanks for having us, Southeast Gas!

There’s a lot of work that goes into a Wiregrass United Way pork loin sale! 🐷🔥 Long before the first pickup, our Geneva County volunteers were already hard at work, tending the smokers, preparing the loins and making sure everything was ready to go.

We’re so grateful for the volunteers who make this tradition possible year after year. Thank you for showing up early, working hard and supporting our community! ❤️

A special thank you to our sponsors, Schutz Insurance and Hartford Family Dentistry. We are so grateful for your support of Wiregrass United Way and Geneva County!

The smokers have been going since before the sun came up! 🔥 Our amazing Geneva County volunteers are working hard today to get our famous pork loins smoked, packed and ready for pickup.

Now for the important question… what's your favorite way to enjoy a Wiregrass United Way pork loin? 🐷 Drop your favorite recipe or way to serve it in the comments!

Thank you to our sponsors, Schutz Insurance and Hartford Family Dentistry!
