Firefighter Civil Service Testing
The borough has scheduled the civil service written exam and physical agility test for the borough’s next fire fighter on May 1, 2026.
The position will be advertised in the Pittsburgh Post Gazette and the position will also be posted to online platforms. The application period will be 30 days, closing at noon on April 17. The written exam will be administered by Police Consulting Services, using the nationally recognized National Firefighter Selection Inventory (NFSI). The written exam will be followed by the physical agility test.
Chief Stakich will coordinate the oral exam date with Civil Service when they meet on March 18.
