We hope everyone is having a great spring season. With so much going on down at PJP fields, it's hard to believe the season is drawing to a close and it's time to start planning for fall soccer. Before we get there, we have some exciting opportunities coming up in the next few weeks.
1. DYS is marching in the Dorchester Day Parade! The parade is June 7th at noon starting in Lower Mills and ending at Columbia Road. If you are interested in marching with us, please fill out this form (https://forms.gle/pe2tYh45awNwDcJE8). We ask that each child participating have an identified responsible adult. Depending on intersest, we may need to cap the number of people able to march but we will communicate more with people as the week progresses.
Due to the start of the parade, we will be shifting the times for House League on June 7th to 8:30 - 9:30am for Pre-K through K2 and 10:00-11:00 to allow folks to get to the starting line.
2. Tryouts for rising 3rd graders interested in travel soccer in the fall will be held on June 14th following House League. Please register for tryouts at our website.
3. We are hosting a World Cup watch party! Join us at the McKeon Post to cheer on the US Men's National Team as they take on the Socceroos on June 19th. We are asking for a $5 per person donation to help cover the cost of the hall. Please RSVP using this other FORM (https://forms.gle/UGPsb3Kv2c9q8Hmd6) if you can join us. Food and beverages will be available for purchase.
