Join the Riders' Transportation Access Group (RTAG) for their virtual July meeting on Wednesday, July 22, from 2 - 4PM.

They will share general RTAG updates along with reports from the newly formed working groups on The RIDE, Blind and Low Vision/Wayfinding Accessibility, Community Outreach and Engagement, and Municipal Coordination. There will also be updates directly from SWA and The RIDE followed by time for feedback and discussion.

All RTAG meetings are accessible to people with disabilities and people with limited English proficiency. Real-time captioning (CART) and an American Sign Language (ASL) interpreter will be provided for this meeting. Other accessibility accommodations and language services will be provided free of charge upon request, as available. To request reasonable accommodation or language services, please email [email protected] or call the RTAG team at 978-893-8100 at least two weeks before the meeting.

Calling all photographers!

Celebrate 70 years of MassAbility service with our first MassAbility photo contest!

We are inviting former and current participants and providers to submit photos that capture the heart of the work we do together to empower people with disabilities to live life on their own terms.

Submissions are open from now until August 2, 2026. We will display winning submissions in group installments at the Massachusetts State House, UMass Memorial, our social media, and agency marketing material.

Join the Boston Public Library for their virtual event Emergency Signs in American Sign Language (ASL)!

In this essential 1-hour virtual workshop, you will learn key American Sign Language (ASL) signs to help you communicate clearly and effectively during emergency situations. This session is designed for anyone who works with the public, serves in a community role, or simply wants to be a more prepared and responsible neighbor.

Registration is officially open for the MDDC's Positive Me: Self‑Esteem Series!

If you’re a student with a disability between 18–22, this 6‑class program is a great chance to build confidence, connect with others, and learn important skills like advocacy and boundary‑setting.
