We slipped in through the back door and found a whole lot of Halloween happiness out front! 🎃👻

Treat Street filled the sidewalk outside The Next Picture Show Community Arts Center with little superheroes, storybook characters, and the sweetest parade of costumes. Quite the bonus exhibition outside our windows! 🧡

We love seeing downtown Dixon full of families and fun.

A special round of applause for 𝗥𝗼𝗯𝗲𝗿𝘁 𝗖𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗸𝗲 of Rockford, who earned Best of Show for his photograph "Hoar Frost," and 𝗥𝗼𝗯𝗲𝗿𝘁 𝗞𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗷𝗲𝗰𝗸𝗶 of Elburn, whose watercolor "New Day" captured the People's Choice Award! 👏

The Next Picture Show Community Arts Center invites artists to explore these possibilities in 𝐎𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐢𝐞, our upcoming juried exhibition celebrating the prairies of the Midwest.

🎨 It's not just about landscape painting! We welcome original 2-D and 3-D work, including photography, sculpture, mixed media, and more. 𝙋𝙡𝙚𝙞𝙣 𝙖𝙞𝙧 𝙥𝙖𝙞𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙨 are especially encouraged to enter!
