The Washington County Free Fair is just around the corner, and we can't wait to see all of the hard work you've put into your 4-H projects!

⚠️ IMPORTANT 4-H ENROLLMENT REMINDER
All 2026–2027 Washington County 4-H enrollment must be completed and in ACTIVE status before entering the County Fair.

Please check your enrollment status before bringing your entries to the fairgrounds.

The county fair is a wonderful opportunity to build confidence, gain experience, and celebrate your accomplishments.

Livestock and Horse Show Entries are due this Friday, August 28th!

4-H members exhibiting at Tulsa State Fair must have their 2026-2027 4-H Enrollment completed.

Tulsa State Fair Exhibitors must have a Legal Release to go along with their entries. The legal release must also be signed by the OSU Extension Office for 4-H members.

We are excited to announce that Washington County 4-H will be starting a Livestock Judging Team this fall!

Livestock judging is an educational and competitive activity where 4-H members learn to evaluate and rank classes of livestockβ€”including beef cattle, sheep, swine, and goatsβ€”based on industry standards. Members develop valuable life skills such as critical thinking, decision-making, observation, communication, and public speaking while gaining a deeper understanding of the livestock industry.

If your family is interested in learning more, we invite you to attend our Livestock Judging Informational Meeting:
Date: Monday August 24, 2026
Time: 6:30 p.m.
Location: Washington County OSU Extension Office

The meeting will cover:
- What livestock judging is
- Practice and contest schedules
- Expectations for team members
- Eligibility and participation requirements
- Questions from families

Whether your family has years of livestock experience or is just getting started, we encourage you to come learn more. We look forward to building a strong Washington County 4-H Livestock Judging Team!

Join the Cattlewomen for their Annual Pie and Basket Auction during the Washington County Free Fair! Sept 10th at the Dewey Fairgrounds at 6pm.

They will have pies to auction that have been made by some of the greatest bakers in Washington County, and also some beautiful baskets filled with lots of goodies for everyone.

🚨 Livestock exhibitors: If you are showing livestock at the Washington county free fair pre-entry is due TOMORROW, August 21st!

The entry forms can be found in the back of the fair book and will need to be turned into the OSU Extension Office tomorrow before they close. οΏΌ The online registration that is in the fair book is incorrect and should not be used. οΏΌ
