Spread the word!!! Senior Day at the Washington County Adult Center in Dewey. C.A.R.D. Senior Nutrition would like to invite all seniors 60 and older to attend this event. There will be live music, informational booths, door prizes and health screenings. Lunch will also be served. May 1st from 9-1. This will be a great opportunity to learn about the services available in the Bartlesville area. If you have questions, please call 918-534-1270. See you there.

So this is the time for us to stand up and let our voices be heard concerning the need for additional funding to help support all the senior service that are available. Every year these services see cuts and many are struggling to stay afloat. If you can't make the trip, write a letter, send an email, make a phone call to your legislative representative. If you don't know this information, I will gladly provide it. Or even if you want to drop off a letter at our offices, we will make sure it get in the right hands. Good News! We will be opened tomorrow. Meals will be delivered and served at the sites. Menu tomorrow is Baked Potato, Chili, Salad, Crackers & Cookies. Good to be back.

Unfortunately the nutrition centers will be closed again tomorrow. For our homebound seniors continue to use the emergency meals we provided in the fall. Hopefully we will be open Thursday.

The CARD Nutrition Centers will be closed again tomorrow, Tuesday, January 27. We know that the main roads are in good condition, but we have to consider our volunteers and seniors as they try to get out of their neighborhoods and deliver meals. We need to keep everyone safe. Continue to watch News on 6 and this page for future closings. Thanks for the patience.
