Clean Air For All - Join us on Wednesday, May 28, for an Air Quality Town Hall hosted by the Breathe Well Initiative, a GRDC program dedicated to spreading awareness regarding clean and healthy air. We’re bringing together a expert from Henry Ford Hospital, JustAir and Rashida Tlaib, US Congresswoman to talk about local pollution, health impacts, and how we can work together for cleaner air. 🌬️

📍 Where: North Rosedale Community House (18445 Scarsdale)
⏰ When: Thursday May 28 | 6:30 PM – 8:00 PM
🍪 Bonus: Refreshments provided!

🌳 Let’s spruce up our neighborhood! 🌳

The Grandmont Community Association (GCA) and Schoolcraft Improvement Association (SIA) are teaming up for a Tree Care Day, and we need your help!

We’ve officially "adopted" the 15 trees in front of Detroit Roller Wheels, thanks to the support of the owner, John. Now, it’s time to help these trees get established and beautify the border of our neighborhoods.

📅 When: Saturday, May 30th at 9:00 AM

📍 Where to Meet: Detroit Roller Wheels (16611 Schoolcraft, Detroit, MI 48227)

💪 What we’ll be doing: Weeding around the trees, exposing root flares, adding mulch, and picking up trash.

We are looking for at least 10 volunteers to make this happen. Even if you can only spare 1 hour, your time will make a huge difference!

Your vote is your voice! Join the GCA Youth & Education Committee for an important community event designed to help you prepare for upcoming elections.
