West McNichols Corridor Development Corporation Detroit is experiencing a rebirth. Pockets of the city are undergoing expansion and redevelopment. The WMCDC members want to be a part of of this rebirth.

The WMCDC will act as an umbrella organization to oversee the planning and the implementation of programs that promote physical and social improvement within our boundaries. These programs would include proper maintenance and security of commercial properties working in conjunction with public and private agencies for the physical, social and economic welfare of the area. The WMCDC was officially launched in May 2015 by Darlene Alston, Gloria Patterson & Cheryl Matthews.
