Presented by Detroit Area Agency on Aging, Senior Project FRESH helps eligible residents access locally grown produce and promotes healthier eating habits. Benefits include free nutrition education and $25 in benefits to use on produce at local markets.

Eligibility includes those aged 60 or older with a household income of $28,952.50 or less for an individual, or $39,127.50 or less for a couple. Or 55 or older who are members of a Michigan federally recognized tribe or urban tribal group.

St. Pat is fortunate that five local nursing colleges provide students to assist with our health and wellness programs as part of their learning curriculum. Pictured here are representatives of Arizona College of Nursing (Southfield), who are with us every Monday to help in the clinic as needed, conduct health screenings, and provide consultation. Thanks to all our students for all the do!

Help St. Pat feed people! Every week, St. Pat provides meals and supplemental food to our members and to other Detroit residents and organizations - made possible by generous donations from a number of supporters. It's important work, and greatly appreciated by the recipients. We need your help to sort and prep the products - mainly on Sundays, from 11 AM to 1 PM. If you're able to consider helping even one Sunday a month, please see the link in first comment. Here's a brief video on some of what we do.

Over the past few years, our renowned digital and tech training has expanded beyond the tech hub at St. Pat to other places around the city - senior residences, recreation centers and community organizations. Recently our Executive Director, SaTrice Coleman-Betts, and Pat Rencher, our past board VP who now manages “Ageless Innovations” for us, presented the success of this amazing program to the Building Michigan Communities Conference in Lansing (http://www.buildingmicommunities.org). At this annual event, industry innovators and leaders come together to shape the future of affordable housing, community development, and more. It was a great day for St. Pat!
