Join us for a Community Conversation on Cancer led by Dr. Kristen Purrington who will discuss her research on why Black women with hormone-sensitive breast cancer are more likely to die from their disease than White women. Using patient data and molecular analysis, she aims to identify differences in tumor biology that could inform more personalized and equitable breast cancer care.

July is Sarcoma and Bone Cancer Awareness Month. Sarcomas are rare cancers that begin in bones and soft tissues. Unexplained lumps, swelling or persistent bone pain should be evaluated.
