We WILL be open Friday, August 28th from 8am-5pm and Monday, August 31st.

Future Leaders Club is SO BACK! ✨

BasBlue’s Future Leaders Club is now accepting applications for our next cohort! This multi-week, in-person experience is designed for women and nonbinary individuals ages 18–26 across Metro Detroit who are ready to learn, connect, and turn their curiosity into possibility.

You don’t need to have a business or even have it all figured out. Just bring your ideas, your questions, and a willingness to explore.

Meet Ashley, a BasBlue member, registered nurse, medical writer, and fine artist who is embracing the second half of her life to the fullest. 🤎

By day, Ashley advocates for patients through her work writing medical appeals. By night, she creates impressionist paintings from her studio at The Scarab Club of Detroit.

For Ashley, community means using her strengths to be a resource for others. She’s also created a unique way to bring artists and collectors together, hosting local artists in her home for intimate dinners where they can share new work and connect with potential collectors.

As she continues building her artistic practice, Ashley hopes to one day pursue her art full-time. Her goal? To create a body of work that brings value, joy, and uplift to the people who collect it.

We’re grateful to have Ashley as part of the BasBlue community and love getting to know the many ways our members are creating, contributing, and making an impact. ✨

The BOLD Women’s Health Day was just that, BOLD!

Presented by Henry Ford, the day was filled with connection.

Together the speakers, vendors, demonstrations, conversations, and workshops, we left us all feeling seen, heard and ready to take control. ✨
