Bonobo Hope Nonprofit

Bonobo Hope Nonprofit BHI promotes language research to engender conservation & protection of endangered species.Peter Gabriel & Sue Savage Rumbaugh support. EIN 45-3218086

Bonobo Hope is a nonprofit organization led by Time 100’s Most Interesting People, Bonobo Scientist Author, Scientist, Professor, and Inventor, Dr, Sue Savage-Rumbaugh. We began back in 2008 as an offshoot of the Interspecies Internet, Inc. 501(c)(3) of which she and Peter Gabriel are founders ( 2001). The promotion of the intelligence of the bonobos and compassion in conservation was the goal of

the organization. This would occur primarily via the Internet connections between species (including human and non-human apes) and other sentient species. The conservation aspect we hoped would evolve into the Congolese Schools where the children could speak with the bonobos via the Lexigram already in use by several bonobo apes that Sue trained.
